bombshell: emotional abuse. and i love it.
by justine
ming and i supposedly have an understanding.
when i first went to bombshell with my dog-eaten hair (not words of my choosing, hell, i liked my cut ok?) my brief to him was “do anything you like, just make it short and easy to style.”
i love ming’s work. plus the fact that he never bugs me to get treatment or buy miscellaneous products.
on my second visit i asked him “can i get a different cut each time?”
today, i asked for something that i could grow out.
“no.”
“but, why? i wanna grow it long. well, not long. but long-ER.”
*ming pauses and looks me in the eye (in the mirror)*
“tell me, do you really think you look good with long hair. do you?”
“no… wait, i mean i don’t know. *whines* i just wanna tryyyyyyy…”
“no. never.”
so now, no going back to the same style. no growing my hair. no knowing what cut i’m going to get.
and i am his willing slave. he’s harder to get hold off than the queen of england and never lets me know anything before (or while) snipping away.
*ming cutting off all the hair on my left side*
“are you giving me a mohawk?”
“no. it’s a falcon.”
“… what’s a falcon?”
“hawks and falcons are birds. like kestrels.”
“…”
here’s his latest.
