chaka chaka

a couple of days ago, jt showed me part of the “electroma” movie, the latest release being some time mid-2008. of course, i started obsessing and googling and whatnot. many hours, youtube videos, and shed tears later i’m emotionally worn out.

while i understand why the movie did not utilise any of daft punk’s own tracks (supposedly only featuring their musical inspirations), “make love” manages to turn their relentless (and terribly boring) trek through the desert seem superbly poignant.

admittedly the music editing in this one is disastrous (haiya fan video, forgiveable la) but it’s not like i care. what i do care about is where to get one of those fucking cool helmets. ebay, maybe?
