during the supposed petrol crisis and the hike to RM2.70, we were allowed to claim a petrol subsidy/rebate of RM625 (for vehicles 2000cc and below). unfortunately i renewed my road tax just before phase 1 (some time in february 2008) which now totally fucks up my plans of using the cash to subsidise my 2009 road tax renewal.

i signed up and logged on to posonline only to get this error message of a thousand deaths and a million b.o-wafting account executives:

Your vehicle data do not exist in JPJ system. Please visit the nearest JPJ branch to check status of your cash rebate.

so i had to find out when the fuck i could get my rebate. ended up at mycen and homaigod…

Phase 2:

Eligible Malaysian vehicle owners who purchase or renew their road tax from 1st June 2008 till 31st March 2009 can claim at post offices nationwide from 1st July 2008 onwards.
