sackboy snake!

as much as i hate 1) the white man for tainting goku’s pure jap-saiyan heritage 2) chow yun fatt and chow sing chi for selling out (you asses!) and 3) movie bigwigs for pulling that whole white-man-saves-the-day-with-mythical-eastern-kungfu, i’m probably still going to watch it.

while i cry salty tears of loss over my brother’s entire rm5.90 a comic dragonball series. mmmmm… trunks.

being the ds junkie that i am, it’s almost inexcusable that i have not yet posted about this tiny papercraft wonder.

check out the overwhelming dedication of a ds freak. a mini marvel merely 1.4″ x 0.75″ x 0.25″ with functioning hinge (wow) and teensy tiny nintendogs cartridge.

this actually reminds me a lot of my little brother’s psychotic papercraft. he spent hours and hours shaping a miniature house down to the minutest details (hinges on his cupboards, piping for his sinks) and i think he might love it. too bad he’s just flown off for a 3-week holiday in the UK. ass. :(

a couple of days ago, jt showed me part of the “electroma” movie, the latest release being some time mid-2008. of course, i started obsessing and googling and whatnot. many hours, youtube videos, and shed tears later i’m emotionally worn out.

while i understand why the movie did not utilise any of daft punk’s own tracks (supposedly only featuring their musical inspirations), “make love” manages to turn their relentless (and terribly boring) trek through the desert seem superbly poignant.

admittedly the music editing in this one is disastrous (haiya fan video, forgiveable la) but it’s not like i care. what i do care about is where to get one of those fucking cool helmets. ebay, maybe?
