i used to process my film at any one of the mid valley photo shops (depending on whichever one was closest). they all charged ridiculous prices for scanning processed negatives. RM15 – RM20 a CD is just madness. so i just developed my rolls and got a friend to manually scan hundreds of them in [...]
i’d noticed that, despite being the “automatic exposure dream machine”, the LC-A+ tends to underexpose shots even in bright daylight. so the cool hack (hehe) was a piece of black duct tape covering the light meter. a new problem arose – overexposing shots. these are from the latest batch, a mixture of kodak/fujifilm and ASA200/400. [...]

developed 3 rolls of LCA+ yumminess today. being the stingy teochew that i am and so smart that i am, got them developed without making prints. RM8 a pop + a lot of scanning. danke!
